Resident Evil #4
WildStorm's Resident Evil #4 (May 2010) promises that "the truth will be uncovered" with a cover by Kevin Sharpe and Trevor Scott that puts a red-haired, glasses-wearing woman front and center, armed with a shotgun and wearing a confident smirk — flanked on one side by a scarred, blade-wielding man looming large in the background and on the other by a cluster of snarling, decomposing zombies. The tension between the two human figures and the encroaching undead horde gives the composition a real sense of uneasy alliance under pressure. With Rick Sánchez writing and Jheremy Raapack on interior art, this issue carries the franchise's survival-horror atmosphere straight from screen to page.
