Resident Evil #2

This June 2009 WildStorm/DC entry in the Resident Evil series delivers the survival-horror atmosphere the franchise is known for, with cover pencils and inks by Kevin Sharpe and Jim Clark presenting a tense, harrowing scene. In the foreground, a red-haired woman wielding a bloody knife and a bloodied male fighter brandishing a pistol and submachine gun stand back-to-back, surrounded on all sides by a shambling horde of zombies. Towering over them all is a massive, grotesquely mutated creature with glowing eyes and a blood-soaked face — a looming threat that makes it clear these two survivors are in very serious trouble.
