Resident Alien #3
In Resident Alien #3, the alien posing as Dr. Vanderspiegle follows a hunch in a murder case, only to be hunted down at his clinic—where Asta intervenes and accidentally wounds him. The attacker surrenders, and Asta’s unsettling observation hints at the doctor’s true nature. A brief flashback reveals the alien’s crash three years prior, with military forces examining the wreckage, and later, in the hospital, the alien drifts into a dream of his distant home. Written by Peter Hogan and illustrated by Steve Parkhouse—whose work defines the issue’s moody, grounded tone—this standout chapter deepens the mystery with quiet tension and a haunting glimpse of alien longing. Cover by Steve Parkhouse.
