In Lapland, miners drilling for copper find a strange frozen chunk of reptilian flesh. The specimen is sent to Copenhagen for study. The flesh thaws and starts growing at a rapid rate until it eventually grows into a huge winged reptilian monster dubbed "Reptilicus". The monster runs amok through Denmark and is eventually rendered unconscious by a sedative shot into its mouth from a bazooka. The military plans to destroy the unconscious body bit by bit, not realizing a small chunk of Reptilicus (that had blown off in its battle with the military) is floating out at sea slowly growing...
