Mordecai and Rigby have dug themselves into quite a predicament — literally — as this 2015 KaBOOM! issue finds the blue jay and raccoon duo at the bottom of a deep pit, surrounded by a chaotic scatter of discarded electronics, radioactive barrels, and even a stray sword. Peering down from the rim above are familiar park faces, including Muscle Man, Hi Five Ghost, and what appears to be Margaret and a helmeted figure, all watching the mess unfold with varying degrees of concern. Andy Hirsch's cover sets a wonderfully absurd tone for "Grey Goo," written by Kevin Church with art by Mad Rupert — exactly the kind of gloriously weird situation Regular Show fans have come to love.
