Cullen Bunn's psychological horror series continues with a cover that's equal parts haunting and hypnotic — a central face split between two selves, one smooth and present, one older and cracked like peeling plaster, flanked by the ghostly profiles of two figures emerging from the background. Scorpions, centipedes, and flies swarm the lower portion of the composition, grounding this vision of fractured identity in something deeply, viscerally unsettling. Danny Luckert's linework and Marie Enger's pale, bruised color palette make this 2018 Image series one of the more quietly disturbing offerings on the stands.
