“Decoy Ploy”

The gang is throwing a "Fabulous 50s Party," and the cover of this July 1978 issue captures all the retro fun — Archie and Veronica are dancing under a mirrored disco ball while Reggie, sporting a "Davey Crock" tee and letterman jacket, grooves nearby, and a bewildered guest wonders aloud what to bring "that's of the Fiftys." A jukebox, scattered 50s-era dates, and even a model Edsel in the foreground fill the scene with cheerful period detail. It's a warm, lively snapshot of Riverdale nostalgia that makes this installment of Reggie and Me an easy, fun pick-up.
