Reggie and Me #1

Reggie Mantle finally gets the spotlight in this 2017 Archie Comics series by writer Tom DeFalco and artist Sandy Jarrell. The cover sets the tone perfectly: a paint-splattered Reggie sits slouched in what looks like the principal's waiting area, arms crossed and thoroughly unimpressed, while a supremely relaxed Archie lounges beside him with a grin — and a cheerful little dachshund sits loyally at their feet. Two other students covered in colorful paint round out the scene, hinting that whatever mayhem preceded this particular hallway sit-down was spectacular indeed.
