Shane and Chris Houghton's frontier comedy series delivers its eighth issue as a one-shot, and Chris Houghton's cover is a wonderfully strange piece of work — three pixelated 8-bit faces (a bear, a mustachioed hero, and a scarred figure) are emblazoned across an enormous ceremonial headdress worn by a looming, skull-faced entity adorned with feathers and tribal earrings. The tagline "Real Ladies Punch Harder" hints at the irreverent, action-forward energy that's made this series such a charming corner of the Image lineup. It's the kind of cover that stops you cold in a spinner rack and demands you pick it up.
