This anthology issue features two main stories: "The Attila of the Desert," in which a mysterious spiritual figure appears to the Pueblo peoples during Spanish colonial times, claiming to be a warrior sent by the gods to help them fight the Spanish, though the tale is tied to accusations of witchcraft and violence; and "Redskin," in which the magical warrior Redskin, possessor of the Magic Bow and Silver Tipped Arrows of Justice, is summoned by Cheyenne chiefs to solve the riddle of an "Army of the Dead" that terrorizes their people, discovering a supernatural threat that he must combat with his flaming arrows.
