This anthology issue contains two main stories: "Chief Sitting Bull and Firebrand of the Sioux," in which young braves are incited to war by Red Shirt before Chief Sitting Bull counsels peace, only to face conflict with a mysterious "Iron Horseman"; and "Flaming Arrow," featuring the Native American hero who captures the scout Cunning Fox while pursuing Dr. Phineas Flubb and his stolen snake oil medicine, ultimately retrieving the stolen goods and continuing his journey.
