"Sitting Bull—Red Devil of the Black Hills" follows the legendary Sioux leader Sitting Bull as he engages in battles and strategic conflicts to defend his people and their homeland. The story depicts Sitting Bull's military prowess and leadership against cavalry forces and settlers, emphasizing his role as a protector of his tribe. A secondary story titled "The Ghost of Justice" features Redskin and his white companion Frank Forrest heading to the mining town of Oreload, where they become entangled in a conflict involving a Colonel, Apache warriors, and attempts to trap and capture the enemies, with references to the Apache leader Geronimo.
