Redneck #28

Donny Cates, Lisandro Estherren, and Dee Cunniffe's Skybound vampire series reaches chapter four of its "Tall Tales" arc with a cover that drips old-world dread. Under a bloated full moon, a gaunt, top-hatted vampire with glowing red eyes grips a terrified woman on a gaslit cobblestone street, the surrounding rooftops bathed in deep blues and slashes of blood red. It's a moody, gothic set piece that makes issue #28 a genuinely compelling entry in this long-running series.
