Jordie Bellaire and Vanesa Del Rey's Redlands continues to deliver some of the most unsettling imagery in contemporary horror comics, and issue ten is no exception. Viewed from a stark overhead angle, a figure in an orange jumpsuit crouches on a cell floor while a massive, shadow-draped creature with glowing eyes looms from the darkness above — the power imbalance couldn't feel more absolute. It's a cover that earns its dread quietly, letting the confined space and that watching presence do all the work.
