Red Sonja trades her sword for a steering wheel in this 2017 Dynamite issue, with cover art by Mike McKone showing the She-Devil herself — red hair flying, tattoo on full display — leaning out the cab of a big rig with a look that says she owns the road. The "Big Red Trucking" arc takes the Hyrkanian warrior well outside her usual territory, and writer Amy Chu and artist Carlos Gómez deliver what promises to be one of the more unexpected chapters of Sonja's modern adventures. At $3.99, it's a genuinely fun entry that proves this series isn't afraid to take its heroine somewhere surprising.
