Red Seal Comics #19

A masked rider investigates a murder in a small desert town, suspecting poison was used to kill a man without arousing suspicion of foul play. The rider pays a visit to the local mine where Señor Gregg has discovered a new gold vein, but discovers the mine is worthless and learns that Gregg and his men are planning to ambush him. After a confrontation at the mine involving gunfire and a desperate climb up a shaft to a balcony, the rider exposes the scheme and defeats Gregg's men in a final shootout.
