Written by Gaylord Du Bois and illustrated by Bill Ely, the story follows LB and Po-ko as they track the outlaws to a hidden cliff dwelling, where they quietly recover the stolen goods and set a clever trap using a lifelike dummy of a scalped bandit. The dramatic reveal sends the robbers fleeing in panic, aided only by two arrows from LB's quiver. The cover, by Fred Harman, captures the tense moment with vivid Western flair.
