“Telecomics Presents Zane Grey's King of the Royal Mounted”

In "Telecomics Presents Zane Grey's King of the Royal Mounted," Little Beaver’s fascination with a carnival monkey leads to an unexpected adventure when he buys the sick animal with help from Red. After a week of recovery, the monkey—now healthy—plays a surprising role when a desperado invades their home, only to be thwarted by a cleverly timed shot from Bargum’s unloaded gun. Written by Gaylord Du Bois and illustrated by Morris Gollub with inks by Bill Ely, this 1948 Dell classic blends frontier grit with a touch of whimsy, all under a cover by an unknown artist.
