Sandy deduces the shorn outlaws' next move, and sets the Kiyotees to thwart them. Ted tails the ones afoot. Billy trails the ones riding. Ted assigns Sandy comms. Silk and his riders successfully raid Broken Bow despite Billy's warning deputy Wade. Ted encounters Pepe, whose flock has been stolen by the outlaws afoot. Ted gives Pepe his horse, clothes, and a note to be delivered to Sandy, in exchange for Pepe's clothes. He goes undercover among the outlaws, as Pepe.
