☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe issue contains two stories featuring Red Rabbit and his friends. In the first story, a sarge reflects on how kids can be confused and misbehaving, leading to a confrontation in Hogan's Alley where the gang plans to ambush someone arriving at the location. In the second story, Red Rabbit participates in winter activities including a gold cup competition and ice skating, before attempting an elaborate scheme involving a car mold and fish glue that goes awry when he accidentally creates a malodorous mess instead of the lightweight car he envisioned.
Lodey the Lion, the Prime Minister, can't resist peeking at the neighbors through binoculars—until the King catches him red-pawed and scolds him soundly. When Lodey gets a mischievous idea and leaves the binoculars smudged with ink, he's certain the King won't be able to resist temptation himself. A clever bit of comeuppance unfolds as the King falls right into Lodey's trap.
Petey Pinfeathers trains hard for the big ice skating race and the gold cup prize, but faces off against a cocky rival who'll stop at nothing to win—including dirty tricks on the ice. When a dramatic turn of events leaves the other skater in real danger, Petey must choose between victory and doing the right thing, discovering that true character counts for more than any trophy.
