Red Mask faces off against gunslinger Gulp and his gang in the town of Bullet, where Gulp attempts to rob the U.S. Assay Office. When Red Mask is temporarily serving as sheriff, Gulp uses the chaos of a staged holdup to steal gold from the assay office while Red Mask battles a hypnotic warrior called the Black Thunder and a circle of magical flame. Red Mask pursues the fleeing criminals, but the Black Phantom—revealed to be a disguised outlaw helping Gulp—escapes with the stolen treasure to the Espinoza Hacienda. Red Mask travels to the hacienda posing as a vagrant to infiltrate Gulp's hideout and recover the stolen art treasures belonging to Don Esteban.
