Part of DC's New 52 initiative, this 2014 issue of Red Lanterns doubles the value with a Special Flipbook format, also presenting the "Red Daughter of Krypton" story. The cover — rendered by Billy Tan and Stephen Segovia — is a visceral, red-soaked image of a rage-fueled Red Lantern standing triumphant amid the battered, green-ringed bodies of fallen Green Lanterns, his fiery hair blazing as he roars skyward. Charles Soule and Alessandro Vitti bring their talents to the interior as "Red Alert, Part 2 of 2" reaches its conclusion, making this a satisfying package for fans of the corps' more furious corner of the DC universe.
