Red Hood and the Outlaws #3

Part of DC's 2012 New 52 initiative, this third issue of Red Hood and the Outlaws arrives under the arc banner "Sins of the Past" with a cover by Kenneth Rocafort that crackles with kinetic energy. Red Hood squares off gun-raised against Arsenal while Starfire blazes above them wreathed in fiery energy, and a fourth red-costumed figure struggles in the foreground amid the chaos of a shattered stone staircase. Lobdell and Rocafort were clearly hitting their stride here, and that gloriously chaotic cover makes it easy to see why this New 52 team book was turning heads.
