Reanimator #2

Francesco Francavilla's cover for this 2015 Dynamite series sets a memorably unsettling tone: a cold-eyed scientist in a lab coat clutches a glowing yellow syringe in the foreground, while looming behind him is a massive, shadowy reanimated figure with wild eyes, and a wailing, decayed corpse claws at the upper left. "Making Mad" promises exactly the kind of creeping dread this imagery delivers — Herbert West's forbidden science looks as dangerous as ever, and the series is in very capable hands with writer Keith Davidsen and artist Randy Valiente carrying the story inside.
