Young Falcon, a Native American boy, enters his tribe's tepee only to encounter a mountain lion protecting a baby in the camp. After a fierce battle with the animal, Falcon defeats the lion, which reveals through its dying words that the child must be of noble blood. The story follows the discovery that young Billy Wilks, whose father was killed by a villain named Drago, had been hired to impersonate another boy to help eliminate Drago's enemies and seize their land. Ultimately, Falcon helps expose the scheme, allows Billy to escape and pursue his own life as a lone cowhand, and defeats the conspirators threatening the region.
