This issue contains at least two stories. The first follows Lobo, a man trying to win over a woman named Lorna in Lobo Valley; when Lorna initially resists life there, Lobo's men capture her, but after a horse doctor treats Lorna's injuries with humor, her anger fades and she accepts her fate. The second story involves a young woman and a hired man named Flash; after her father, a wealthy gold-mine owner and attorney, attempts to separate them and threatens Flash with arrest, the couple manages to escape to a ranch where Flash plans to work, with the father eventually accepting the match and offering Flash employment as well.
