Real Screen Comics #74

The Crow is up to his scheming best on this May 1954 cover, cheerfully pouring what he claims are "bath salts" into a tub where the Fox is already soaking — except the box clearly reads "Quick Drying Cement." Fox's nervous wave suggests he may be catching on just a moment too late, making for a wonderfully expressive gag that captures everything fun about this DC humor series. Real Screen Comics #74 brings the animated charm of the Fox and the Crow to the comic page with the kind of sly, good-natured mischief that made this title a delight.
