This 52-big-pages July 1951 DC anthology puts the Fox and the Crow front and center in a delightfully chaotic beach scene — the Crow, dressed as a lifeguard and rowing a bright yellow rescue boat, has apparently "saved" the Fox by dropping a massive anchor on him, sending the hapless fox splashing into the water with arms flailing. It's the kind of breezy, sun-drenched slapstick that made these funny-animal comics such a cheerful read, and at ten cents you got a generous stack of it.
