Real Screen Comics #15

This December/January 1947 DC offering delivers a wonderfully silly scene straight from the funny-animal playbook: the Fox finds himself tied to a large red rocket — its fuse already hissing — while the Crow makes off with a fistful of cash, cheerfully reminding him not to forget to bring back the rocket. A "Trip to the Moon" sign priced at $10.00 makes the gag delightfully complete, and Tito and his burrito Burrito peek in from the top of the cover as additional stars of this 52-page package. At ten cents, this DC anthology was offering a lot of animated-style charm for the money.
