DC's long-running funny-animal anthology returns with the Fox and the Crow front and center — literally back-to-back, with the Fox lost in a daydream of a steaming pie while the dapper Crow, purple hat and all, seems to be scheming his own angle in a separate thought bubble above them both. It's a charming 1958 snapshot of the duo's cheerful rivalry, rendered in the bright, rubbery style that made this series a reliable delight for younger readers. A fun, easygoing entry in the run at the classic dime price.

writer Jack Schiff · artist, inker Bob Brown · letterer Ira Schnapp
