Real Screen Comics #116

This November 1957 DC anthology brings the Fox and the Crow front and center in a wonderfully silly cover gag: Foxie is charging down the track pole-vault pole in hand, confidently declaring "This is ONE time Foxie's going to make it over the bar!" — while a sneaky crow has planted a box of firecrackers at the base of the pole, all of them sizzling away with mischievous intent. Watching the chaos from the title banner are a sombrero-wearing character and a grinning pig, making the whole scene feel like a cheerful cartoon riot straight off a Saturday matinee screen.
