A second story, "Behind Our Breakup," features a girl named Nellie who, after being caught with a boy named Mack Dudley and accused of being too forward, loses her opportunity with him when he meets another girl; later, Mr. Morris, a rising young attorney, offers Nellie a job as his secretary, and her father hopes this connection will lead to marriage and financial stability for the family.
