“Swept Off My Feet”

In "Swept Off My Feet," Melissa finds herself caught between two men—Kirk, set up by her friend Beth, and reporter Ty, who truly captures her interest—until a web of deception unravels when Beth’s affair comes to light. As Beth’s husband Jim suffers a heart attack, Melissa agrees to help cover for Beth by pretending to be engaged to Kirk, straining her relationship with Ty. When Kirk’s body is discovered, suspicion falls on Ty, but the truth eventually emerges, clearing him and allowing Melissa and Ty to reconcile—while Beth vows to mend her marriage. Bill Walsh’s expressive art brings the emotional stakes to life, with inking by Mario Rizzi adding depth to every panel.
