Real Life Comics #2 is an anthology featuring historical adventure stories. The first story depicts Sir Francis Drake commanding the English merchant fleet in a naval engagement against Spanish forces, including a confrontation with a Spanish commander and a successful landing maneuver. A second story chronicles Richard the Lionheart leading Crusaders against overwhelming numbers of mounted Turks in a desperate mountain battle. The issue also includes a text story titled "Light of the Statue: The Light That Never Fails," which recounts a personal anecdote about the Statue of Liberty and discusses the symbolic significance of the statue's torch as a beacon of liberty and democracy.
