Volume 7 of Real Account makes an immediate impression with its cover: a figure wearing a blood-splattered white mask with hollow eyes looms forward, hands outstretched, dressed in a dark hoodie bearing the series' signature "R" logo. The unsettling imagery perfectly captures the manga's blend of social-media dread and survival horror that has made this series by Okushou and Shizumu Watanabe such a compelling read.
