This 2016 Dutch-language edition from Sherpa brings the beloved Ravian en Laureline series to life with "De vogels van de meester" — a title that sets an immediately atmospheric tone. Jean-Claude Mézières's cover art is a striking study in moonlit blues and blacks: a dark, imposing tower rises against twin glowing orbs, while vast swarms of birds mass ominously in the sky above, and two small figures navigate a creature-drawn vessel through the shadowy landscape below.
