The finale of "The White Carnival" arrives in this sixth and final chapter, "Soulless," with Raven front and center on Bengal's striking cover — her dark hair whipping wildly, head thrown back in what looks like an agonized cry, as roller coasters and a Ferris wheel loom ghostly blue behind her. There's real visual tension in that image: a young woman in torn stockings and a high-collared jacket, clearly pushed to her emotional and supernatural limits against a carnival backdrop that feels anything but festive. Marv Wolfman and Diógenes Neves bring this 2017 miniseries home, and Bengal's cover sets the mood perfectly for a reckoning.
