"Living Mermaids" delivers a swashbuckling Arabian tale from 1945, where a young man named Ahmad is drawn into a daring rescue after a bandit raid steals a white camel. With the help of a mysterious old man, Ahmad tracks the thieves, saves both the camel and a hidden girl, only to discover the elder is none other than Sheik Abdullah. The story unfolds with a blend of adventure and romance, set against a desert backdrop, all rendered in bold, dynamic art by Dan Zolnerowich and brought to life on the cover by Joe Doolin.
