The lead story, "Crusade of the Yank Commandos," follows U.S. Rangers springing a China death-trap designed to ensnare dangerous loot-legions. The issue also includes "The Werewolf Hunter" by Armand Weysand, in which Professor Broussard and his daughter work to break a generational werewolf curse while battling a creature that transforms humans into wolf-men. Additional stories featured include "The Phantom Falcons," "Rocky Hall, Jungle Stalker," "Pvt. Elmer Pippin," and others.
The U.S. Rangers, led by Capt. Morgan, cross treacherous enemy territory in Japanese-held Khansa Province after a harrowing escape at sea, pursued relentlessly by Colonel Haruna's forces sworn to avenge a fallen brother. As Morgan's men fight their way inland toward General Stilwell's bases, they discover a sinister plot unfolding at Khansa Temple—a forced wedding designed to bind the local people to Japanese rule, guarded by enemy soldiers and Nazi collaborators. With wounded men in tow and the jungle closing in, the Rangers must find a way to strike at the heart of the occupation before they're hunted down.
