Range Rider #18

The Range Rider encounters a young man named Piney whose grandfather is being held hostage by a villain named Verne, who demands the old man's ranch in exchange for Piney's life. When the Range Rider pursues Verne and his men to recover the stolen boots that serve as evidence of Verne's claim, a gunfight erupts in the rain. The Range Rider is shot but manages to recover, ultimately stopping Verne's scheme and securing the grandfather's safety and the return of his property.
