# The Flying A's Range Rider #14 The Range Rider and his companion Dick West engage in a fight with a man named Wilder, during which the Range Rider is jumped before noticing Wilder's approach. After the scuffle, they discover the man has a map to a mission and decide to search for someone named "him." The story includes a sidebar titled "Lesson for a Warrior," a Cheyenne account of a young warrior's encounter with a Crow warrior, where the Crow ultimately teaches the Cheyenne respect for courage. Back at the ranch, the Range Rider and Marion discuss stolen mares and plan to track down the thief by scouting nearby ranches, leading them on a pursuit toward the north where the herd's prints mysteriously vanish.
