Raise the Dead #4

Arthur Suydam brings his painterly horror sensibility to this fourth and final issue of Dynamite's zombie series, delivering a cover that's equal parts unsettling and audacious. Rendered entirely by Suydam, the image depicts a zombified infant drifting underwater toward the viewer — arms outstretched, skeletal face staring blankly — while a fishhook dangles just out of reach in the blue depths. It's a genuinely arresting piece of cover art that captures the series' unflinching tone right through to its conclusion.
