This fourth volume of Rainbow, published by Kazé Ultimate in 2016, brings together the gritty, compelling artwork of Masasumi Kakizaki with George Abe's scenario in a striking package. The cover places a determined young man in a worn jacket front and center, his intense gaze drawing you straight in, while a powerful, broad-shouldered figure and a young woman loom behind him against a faded urban backdrop. It's a beautifully composed image that captures the series' signature blend of raw human drama and toughly drawn characters.
