The eight-issue DC series closes in on its finale with this 1992 issue, whose Pat Broderick cover sets a suitably eerie mood: Ragman stands atop a city bridge at night, the urban skyline glittering behind him, while chunks of green, clay-like golem matter dissolve into the churning water below. The tagline "The Golem's Final Triumph!" promises that whatever confrontation has been brewing reaches a head in "Shreds." With Keith Giffen and Robert Loren Fleming co-writing and Broderick handling both pencils and inks, this penultimate chapter looks like a fittingly atmospheric send-off for DC's patchwork hero.
