Ragebol #3

The third album in the Ragebol series brings "De nacht van de kat" — "The Night of the Cat" — and Frank's cover sets the mood beautifully: a young red-haired boy clutching a girl races along a nighttime railway crossing, dwarfed by the glowing white silhouette of an enormous cat looming against a deep blue sky. The stark contrast between that luminous feline presence and the urgent, ground-level dash of the two children makes for a genuinely arresting image. A strong entry in this Dupuis series, with Bom and Frank delivering the kind of atmospheric tension that makes you want to turn straight to page one.
