Volume 9 of Tony Valente's Radiant presents a striking image: a towering figure clad in dark, scale-like armor, its chest and torso glowing with ominous red-and-white light, standing with commanding confidence while arcane energy crackles at its sides. A sealed scroll tucked at its waist hints at secrets or stakes yet to be revealed, while swirling white energy trails behind the figure against a stark white background. Valente's manga-influenced style is in strong form here, and this 2018 Ankama volume looks like a genuinely compelling chapter in the series.
