Quick Stops Volume 3 #3

Another trip into the Askewniverse delivers something genuinely compelling with this third issue of Quick Stops Volume 3 from Dark Horse. Mark Reihill's cover art sets a striking tone — two wide-eyed, slack-jawed figures clutch an ancient, glowing tome in a darkened graveyard, while a winged figure blazes with light behind them and a robed, gesturing Christ-like figure watches from the shadows at right. It's an image that balances irreverence and the otherworldly with real visual flair, making this one of the more visually arresting entries in Kevin Smith's ongoing anthology series.
