“The Beginning”

The sixth and final issue of WildStorm's Push adaptation arrives in April 2009 with a cover by Mario Alberti that makes a striking impression: a wounded, blood-streaked figure looms in close-up across a fiery red background, while two smaller figures — a young man and a young woman — scramble desperately in the foreground below. Titled "The Beginning," the story is crafted by writers Adam Freeman and Marc Bernardin with art from Bruno Redondo and Aaron Minier. It's a tense, visually arresting sendoff for this psychic-thriller series.
