From WildStorm comes this first issue of Push, the 2009 comics adaptation written by Marc Bernardin and Adam Freeman with art by Bruno Redondo and Aaron Minier. Jock's striking cover sets an immediate tone: a silhouetted figure raises a glowing, outstretched hand toward a blazing light as two helicopters hover ominously in the sky and a person dangles from a rope below — all rendered in a cool, electric palette of blue and white that crackles with psychic tension. It's a confident, visually arresting opener that promises high-stakes thrills from the very first page.
