Purgatori Must Die! #3

The title says it all — someone wants Purgatori dead, and this third chapter of Ray Fawkes and Álvaro Sarraseca's series makes clear she's not going down without a fight. Collette Turner's cover depicts the crimson-skinned, horned vampire goddess turning to face the viewer with cool defiance, a skull clasped in one clawed hand and great black draconic wings unfurling behind her against a roiling wall of flame. It's a striking image that captures exactly the kind of dangerous, otherworldly menace that has made Purgatori one of Dynamite's most compelling supernatural figures.
